U.S. SENIOR CHALLENGE NAMES PAA-KO RIDGE GOLF CLUB AS 2018 HOST SITE
#1 Golf Club in New Mexico to Play Host to Nation’s Only Senior, State-Team Event
SANDIA PARK, N.M. (June 26, 2017) – The United States Senior Challenge, the nation’s only senior amateur event conducted in a state-team format, has announced that the 2018 USSC will be hosted at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club in Sandia Park, N.M. The event will tee off June 5-7, 2018.
“We feel privileged to be able to bring the Challenge to the number one golf course in New Mexico,” said Mike Quinlan, Executive Director of the USSC. “Paa-Ko Ridge has cemented its place over the last 15 years as the star of golf in New Mexico, if not the Southwest. Five-star ratings and recognition on list after list have built the reputation of one of America’s best public golf experiences. We’re excited to provide that as well as the culture of Albuquerque and Santa Fe to our participants.”

SCAGA Takes Reins of Premier National Senior Amateur Event in 2017
RIO RANCHO, N.M. (November 1, 2015) – Recognized for developing into one of the top individual and team, senior-amateur championships in the country, the U.S. Senior Challenge has become one of the premier events on the national, senior-amateur golf schedule. Following 30 years of volunteer-based management, the USSC Board of Directors has asked the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association to step in and take over day-to-day operational management of the USSC.
